Venus Williams completed a title double on Saturday - adding the doubles title to her singles crown in partnership with sister Serena.
Hours after Venus beat Serena in straight sets in the third all-Williams singles final at the All England Club, the sisters teamed up to beat fellow American Lisa Raymond and Australia's Samantha Stosur 6-2 6-2.
The win gave them the Wimbledon doubles title for the third time, the pair having won previously in 2000 (when Venus also won the singles) and 2002 (when Serena was singles champion).
Raymond's serve was broken twice in the opening set and the sisters stamped their authority on the match, proving almost impossible to pass.
Raymond cracked again early in the second set and when Stosur was broken, Venus was left serving for the match at 5-2.
She duly served out to love, the pair clinching victory when Venus hoisted up a lob which landed plum on the baseline - a fitting end to the perfect day for the 28-year-old.
The straight-sets triumph, achieved in just 59 minutes, meant the Williamses took the title without dropping a set.
