Serena Williams has the edge over her older sister Venus - but only just, having won eight of their 15 previous meetings.
The defending champion won the first three meetings between the two siblings, but Serena has had the upper hand in recent years winning seven of the last nine matches.
That includes the only meeting in the past three years, a three-set win over Venus in Bangalore early this season.
This will be the fourth meeting between the two at Wimbledon and the third in the final.
Serena has won the last two matches on grass, both in the final, but lost the first in straight sets in 2000.
Between them the Williams sisters have six Wimbledon titles, with Venus having appeared in six finals to Serena's three before this year.
They have met nine times before in Grand Slam tournaments, with Venus winning four matches and Serena five - all in the last six meetings.
Their 15 matches have involved 36 sets - Venus has won 19 and Serena 17.
