Jamie Murray reaching the quarter-finals of the mixed doubles with partner Liezel Huber on Tuesday.
The 12th seeds upset number six seeds Julian Knowle and Yung-Jan Chan 6-4 6-3 in their third-round match on Court Two.
Murray, who won this title last year, and American Huber broke once in each set and faced only two break points on their own serve, saving both.
They will next play second seeds Daniel Nestor and Chia-Jung Chuan, who later won their third round-match on Court 11.
Nestor helped knock Murray out of the men's doubles on Tuesday.
Meanwhile British prospect Laura Robson caused a shock in the girl's singles when she knocked out American top seed Melanie Oudin to reach the third round.
Melbourne-born Robson, 14, now lives five minutes away from the All England Club claimed a 6-1 6-3 victory.
Robson said: "It was really good. There were so many people supporting me, lots of British fans, so it was just a really good atmosphere."
