The Polish 19-year-old showed a liking for the Wimbledon grass when she reached the fourth round on her debut in 2006 and there was no disgrace in her third-round defeat to Svetlana Kuznetsova 12 months ago. The right-hander from Krakow gained revenge by beating Kuznetsova on her way to the quarter-finals of the Australian Open in January and has since won tournaments in Pattaya City, Istanbul and, most significantly, the grass event at Eastbourne to continue her rise up the rankings. Won the junior title here three years ago. Should go well.
